LA MOKA CON LE ALI: IL PIACERE DEL CAFFE’ARRIVA IN PARADISO” Moka with wings: the pleasure of coffee has reached heaven

Designer Francesco Castiglione Morelli took part directly in one of the most famous works of the maestro Zanuso: the Carmencita cafetière, a real icon of Italian design. Inspired by paradise, he has brought to life a new character, the winged cafetière. The wings, other than having an incredible fluorescent effect, are a real ergonomic innovation: with the new grip in line with the nozzle, the act of pouring the coffee is more natural.

Design, paradise and the cafetière

“Ever since I was a child I have always thought that objectives had a soul. Apart from being taught not to break things and to be respectful of property, I believed that objects had their own life. And therefore I thought that once broken, my toys would end up in paradise and not in a rubbish tip. And in this way, as an adult, having become a designer, I have imagined that even cafetières would grow wings and go up to heaven!”
